Fashion Design and Illustration 2 Weeks Program
Get ready to challenge yourself as you learn to apply and refine your illustrative abilities when you design and create your own tightly-edited 12 piece collection for a specific target market.
Overview
Looking to learn the basics to captivate the world of fashion design? The Cut offers you a variety of two-week intensive workshops designed to maximize your industry knowledge within a minimum time frame. In these hands-on workshops, students will be immersed in all facets of the fashion business. With lectures, class discussions, and hands on instruction students are taught by industry professionals in small group settings, receiving first-class learning in a real-life business environment. Each class is 2 weeks long at 16 hours per week, for a total of 32 hours. There are no prerequesites for our 2 week intensives. Acquire the skills you need to reach your academic and professional goals or complement your current full-time diploma or degree program, or simply build a competitive portfolio for graduate program applications to prepare for advanced study, or just simply become better at your craft.

Join this introduction to fashion design and illustration to develop your technical skills as you conceptualize and create a tightly-edited 12 piece collection for a specific target market. You’ll focus on high-fashion croquis figures, illustration, textile rendering, and use multimedia tools to colour your sketches.

Polly's journey in the fashion industry is a testament to her diverse skills and experiences. Graduating from the Fashion Design & Technology program at Kwantlen college, she set out to explore the global fashion scene, starting in London. Her position as an assistant designer for the high-end label Gharani Strok exposed her to the glamour of London Fashion Week and the world of celebrity-driven fashion.
