    In the 8-Week Color Theory and Art Course for Beginners, students' progress and proficiency will be evaluated through a combination of practical assessments and creative projects. Practical evaluations will involve applying color theory principles and artistic techniques to various projects. Students will be assessed based on their execution, creativity, understanding of color concepts, and ability to apply them effectively in their artwork. Additionally, creative projects will be assigned to encourage students to explore their creativity and experiment with different artistic mediums. Instructors will provide constructive feedback and guidance to help students improve their skills and develop their artistic abilities throughout the course.

    Yulia Yakovenko

    With a passion for nurturing creativity in artists of all ages, Yulia Yakovenko brings background in fine arts and art education to her role as an art instructor. Holding a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Diploma in Art Education (Secondary/Post-Secondary), Yulia has taught drawing, painting, sculpture, and art theory to students from elementary to college levels. She is skilled in guiding students through the creative process, focusing on both artistic techniques and critical thinking, all while encouraging a growth mindset and personal expression.

    Yulia's teaching approach centers on helping students develop a sense of ownership over their work. She draws inspiration from nature, using prompts such as objects, models, and lighting to foster careful observation and analysis. Whether working with younger children or

    advanced students, Yulia adapts her lessons to ensure each student is challenged, supported, and encouraged to explore their artistic potential.
