During this time, she received a Bachelor of Design in Fashion Design and Technology from Kwantlen Polytechnic University and has since taught Pattern Making and Garment Construction at the same program she graduated from. Joanna has worked for two of Vancouver's corporate fashion giants, Lululemon and Aritzia. She gained experience as Fit Technician and Developer at both companies, working with Designers, Pattern Makers and offshore factories to ensure impeccable fit and quality of garments before going into production. Joanna started her Bridal Couture business in 2013 and has since served hundreds of brides – both in Vancouver and internationally, creating one of a kind custom gowns by hand. This experience has given her great depth in understanding the female form and has contributed to her reputation as one of Vancouver's finest and well-respected couturieres. Outside of fashion, Joanna finds balance in nature, the arts and international travel.
