Pattern Making & Assembling Technique (Virtual)
The course enables students to become industry proficient in pattern making, fit and sewing construction. The first six weeks are dedicated to learning the fundamentals of pattern making, fit and sewing, and by Week 7 students choose their ‘design’ stream: active/technical wear, evening wear, contemporary women’s or menswear. Students produce garments throughout their studies and create a cohesive 6-piece collection as their final project. Some sewing experience is required. Some manual pattern making experience is recommended to take this course.
“Its amazing how much they can teach you in just 4 months! I came here having just basic sewing skills and now I know how to produce pretty much any of the clothes I see around!”
